Does anyone know a way to get rid of healice when you can't see them? Normally a sighted member of family does it for me, but I will need to do this on my own, so does anyone have any ideas?

Just in case people are wondering, I see children at home most days who have them, so ...

Well, um, hmmm, there are a fiew ways i guess. One is to just dye your hair, coz, the peroxide, in the die, kills damn near anything. lol Also, there are some awesome battery opperated lice coames out there. When swiched on, and, coamed through the hair, they shock the lice to death. They are, really, really offective. I used one to get them out of my hair when my mother did day care *frustrated sigh* and, my hair goes down past my but, and, is hell thick. So, there's ideas for ya.

Ohhh, i no, there hell. They work so well, thos coams. No washing, just, sit there with a cloth or something next to you to clean it of caurse, then, just, go through your hair. It takes time, but, i'd rather look after my hair, then, kill it with kerroseen lol.

Oooh, there's tons you can find on the subject by googling it. Let me get back to you.
I have heard that vinegar works, but I'll double check on that.

Oohh, icky lice. I got lice at a Skills Center and I had such a hard time with it, I actually had them off and on for a year! Yuck! Anyway, I basically did the best I could with the lice shampoo they give you at the drugstore, and I combed through them for like, three hours. I finally went to visit my mom, and she got them out, and after it was done, we got my hair cut short. (It was almost down to my butt.) But, yeah, I would try the comb thing if you can't get sighted assistance. I'm itching for ya. Happy Nit-picking. Lol.

I have had headlice in the past, and it's no walk in the park. It seemed to take forever to get it out!

I think that you should get a metal bug comb and some conditioner and do your best to comb that shit out. I've had lice a few times but I've been lucky enough to have a sighted persons assistance. And just dying the hair isn't going to work, she'll still have to get rid of the eggs.

Hey I had it on and off for a year when I was 12 at the blind school. The nurses there used Rid and finally after many treatments it worked. That sucks because you litterly have to tie your sheets and crap in plastic bags for like a month.

The easiest and fastest way to get rid of head lice, for sighted and non sighted folk alike is really quite easy.

Borrow a chimpanzee from your local zoo.

Make friends with him or her.

Show them your pretty hair and watch them go to town.

This is a scientifically proven super awesome way to get rid of lice.

You now have no lice, and a very silly new best friend.

Please, hold your thanks, I live off gratitude.
